Gregory & Mary Myers "It's all about the team!" For over 30 years, Gregory's career revolved around education, teamwork, and helping others to achieve their dreams. And although his work-and his and Mary's life-have changed dramatically since they joined GNLD in January of 2002, Gregory's philosophy hasn't. "I was a school principal for 20 years, and whenever two students were sent to my office for fighting, my first question was never, 'Who started it?' It was always, 'How did what happened on the playground today help you achieve your dreams?' It was a lot to lay on a child, but the discussion that followed was very valuable. "My teaching methods have always included setting, discussing, and even writing down goals. You need to understand your dreams and those of the people around you if you're to achieve them and help others do the same. This team approach is what GNLD is all about." The Myers's team-first attitude has resulted in a fast-growing, family-oriented business that's always looking ahead."Each year we develop a theme, "Mary explains,"and this year it's 'Saving each other. 'We're so excited about our ability to empower people to be healthy and wealthy-and we do it all together, because we're a family. Our mission, really, is to save the world, one family at a time!" Of course, Gregory and Mary's thriving GNLD business has also allowed them to help those outside their team, although Gregory downplays this aspect of their success. "It is nice to finally be on the other side of the community service equation," he admits with a grin. "Now, if the kids from the local school need a bus for a trip to the capital, instead of being the guy asking for money, I'm the guy who can write a check to help out!"
